Meticulously conceived, inventively executed. It was pretty straight forward; we simply created a whare that we loved to hang out in and an experience we wanted to share with others. Karahui is a modern dining destination, offering great food and wine served by happy people.

Martinborough is renowned for its Pinot but can also put forward a strong case for gin too, with quality award winning producers Dr Beak, Lighthouse and Reid & Reid creating stunning award winning gins.
There's no denying gin's time in the sun isn't going anywhere. No longer destined for your grandma’s top shelf, this humble spirit's popularity continues to soar and local Martinborough distillers are leading the charge.
Tōhi is Martinborough’s newsiest gin tasting room, refined yet edgy, with a focus on G&T’s, gin tasting flights, and gin cocktails, the menu highlights our local Martinborough gins with a bespoke twist.

OUR STORY
Manaakitanga
Karahui wine Bar & Eatery opened in December of 2021 and was transformed from what was once the Grand old historical BNZ building, oozing plenty of local history, a sense of curiosity, local design and kiwi culture, the korero was created, the whanau gathered and the experience of Manaakitanga began.
