We love Martinborough and proud of the talent we have here. We have curated a small number of “Meet the Maker” experiences designed to give visitors to our town something more personal and story-driven than the usual tasting room stop. These small sessions will take place at the beautiful Karahui restaurant and provide guests the chance to connect directly with our local winemakers, artisans and personalities who have chosen to make the Wairarapa their home
Blue Earth Estate Experience
Almost thirty years ago, Margaret and Mike Hanson fell in love with a bare piece of land overlooking the Te Muna Valley, just outside of Martinborough.
That began a journey of producing award winning olives oils and wines. Let them share their story, their wines and their olive oils with you. You will
be able to:
.-Taste four different wines - their three current releases and a special older wine pulled from their library
-Taste three different extra virgin olive oils
-Learn how olives are grown and extra virgin olive oil is produced
-Go away with new ideas on how you might be able to use olive oil.
T&C: $50 per person. Experience Starts at 10a.m or 12p.m and lasts around 70 mins
