Private Dining in the Vault

Some occasions call for a private space, the right food and a room that holds the conversation well. Karahui, situated on Martinborough's town square is where friends, family and colleagues come to together celebrate, catch-up and everything in between.

Intimate Private Dining in Karahui’s vault: Karahui’s private dining room is situated in the original gold vault of the bank and can accommodate 6-8 people. This original vault is full of character; featuring the original 10,000Kg door, chandeliers, acoustic sound buffering, hand made chandeliers and much more.

We cater for all dietary requirements including gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian. Our wine list is built around the best of the Wairarapa, with Martinborough Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé alongside a curated selection from further afield as well as craft beers and spirits & NABs. If you are wanting accommodation, we have our own boutique accommodation at the Chambers Appartments

We're open Tuesday to Saturday from 3pm. For groups we recommend booking at least two to three weeks ahead, especially for Friday and Saturday evenings. Last-minute enquiries though are also welcome!
