OUR STORY

Manaakitanga

Karahui Wine Bar & Restaurant opened in December of 2021 and was transformed from what was once the Grand old historical BNZ building, oozing plenty of local history, a sense of curiosity, local design and kiwi culture, the korero was created, the whanau gathered and the experience of Manaakitanga began.

A year later, we opened Tōhi Gin Room & Eatery in the former bank manager’s accommodation — a relaxed and vibrant space dedicated to celebrating the craft of New Zealand gin.
